Rebirth of Gao Haoxiang of the Liang Dynasty

Gao Haoxiang was a native of Dongping County, Shandong. He tended to avoid social interactions, living a quiet life. He recited the Infinite Life Sutra every day. Once, during a meditation session, he saw himself seated on a red lotus, floating on a pool of white jade. Initially, he did not see the Buddha, so he gazed upward sincerely and prayed with reverence. Eventually, he saw Amitabha Buddha’s golden form from afar, radiating light that illuminated all directions. One night, he suddenly saw a group of bodhisattvas coming to welcome him, upon which he attained rebirth peacefully. (The Buddha’s Chronicle)
